As a facilitator and educator, I have conducted training sessions, presentations and workshops for audiences who occupy various parts of the world . I use various techniques in my training programmes to engage those who are with me so that they can build their own insight and true potential. I have conducted training programmes/sessions for the Academy of Therapy Wisdom where I serve as faculty, National AIDS Co-ordinating Committee, Caribbean Vulnerable Communities (CVC), National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD) and Caribbean Forum for Liberation and Acceptance of Genders and Sexualities (CariFLAGS). I am also a trainer for Therapy Austin in Texas.
Under the aegis of wonderful organizations such as Dolly and Associates Limited, I have designed and facilitated workshops for institutions such as the Ministry of Community Development, Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), BHP Billiton, EOG Resources, and Ministry of Social Development.
I have presented at various conferences and spaces such as the Psychotherapy Networker Symposium, Black Mental Health Symposium, Biennial Conference of Caribbean and International Social Work Educators, and the Council of Social Work Education Annual Programme Meeting.
A signature part of my work is training practitioners to work with the impact of systemic trauma on marginalized couples and individuals. You can access some of these training opportunities here.
